WICKET TRAINING

Class Schedule

Due to current demand, most of my time is spent offering customized team training and consulting. If your team is considering a project with Wicket, or has already started one, and you need training or consulting services, feel free to contact me using the link above. A variety of options are available, including on-site and phone or email training or support.

Classes are scheduled as demand is found. If you would like one in your area, use the link above to send a request.

What I Offer

On-Site Training

Rather than sending the entire team to a training class, bring the training class to you. Whether your team is just getting started with Wicket or has a specific skill that they need to learn to complement their Wicket knowledge, an on-site course can be crafted to your needs. Offering anywhere from two to five day courses, your team can gain the skills it needs to make your projects successful.

Consultation

When you are faced with deadlines and goals to meet, you need to be able to call on someone who can provide the support you need to meet those goals. I offer consultation over email, phone, or on-site. With the many successful Wicket applications I have deployed in production today, I have the experience you need to be able to call in. Whether it is just sharing the best practices I have learned in the past couple of years using Wicket, help with a specific project, a specific component of your project, or getting that project off the ground, I can help.

Training Classes

Training classes are held in various locations throughout the United States as the demand allows. These classes offer an in-depth experience that will get you started with Wicket. Whether you are just evaluating Wicket, or already have some experience, this will offer you the skills you need to be successful in creating your own Wicket projects.

About Me

The first web application that I published commercially was purchased by eBay. I stayed on with eBay for several years, mentoring and assisting teams that were migrating several applications over to a scalable Java-based architecture. After those were complete, I was off to new adventures - which led me to Wicket. I have been using Wicket since version 1.1, and have deployed over two dozen successful web applications of various sizes with it.
